Research History of Sulfamic Acid

In the year of 1936, Sulfamic acid was first prepared by Rose from the reaction of lead iminosulphonate with hydrogen sulfide.

In the year of 1978, Berglund obtained relatively pure Sulfamic acid.

In the late 1930s, people began to pay attention to the experimental research of Sulfamic acid industrialization.

In the 1950s, due to the increasing application of Sulfamic acid, its industrial production technology has been further developed.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the United States was the first to achieve the industrial production of Sulfamic acid, on a kiloton scale.

In the 1970s, China began to produce Sulfamic acid, mainly using Urea and FUMING SULFURIC ACID as raw materials to produce Sulfamic acid.
