Methods of production and others
It is obtained by the reaction of 2-Thiopheneacetic acid with Thionyl chloride. The 2-Thiopheneacetic acid and Thionyl chloride were added to the glass lined reaction pot, and the reaction was heated in a water bath at 40-50℃ for 4 hours. The reaction solution was distilled under reduced pressure to remove the remaining sulfoxide chloride and low boiling content, and the fraction at 160℃ (0.67kPa) was collected to obtain 2-Thiopheneacetyl chloride.
